Cheyenne Rae Owensby is a healthy and happy girl when she is born. She is the one and only for her mom. But one day something scary happened to her after her father visited her.

As usual, Cheyenne’s father visits her every second weekend after her parents’ separation. But this time round, her fate took a twist just an hour later.

Cheyenne, an 8 months old toddler was crying nonstop on that day and it aggravated her father. He shake her too intensely until her skull breaks, leading to internal bleeding in her brain.

The desperate mother has been informed that her daughter is no longer breathing when she was being sent to a nearby hospital.

Cheyenne’s mum  was horrified when the hospital informed her that her daughter will remain a vegetable and require long term care for the remaining of her life. “I was begging God to save her and take my life instead, I am crying so hard that I was shaking and throwing up.  I saw her covering in bandages, IVs everywhere, her leg was black from a blood clot, she was so swollen when I reached her bedside. It was then I received a call from the police that my ex-husband, James confessed to shaking her.

My whole world came crashing down. The man I once known, in love with since high school and shared a life with almost 10 years did this to OUR daughter.

Miraculously, the little girl actually wakes up after half of her brain was removed. She can speak and move, but the right side of her body is paralyzed. Nevertheless, she doesn’t lose her joie de vivre and doesn’t give up despite her disability.

Cheyenne has just turned 3 and is now living her life to the fullest. You can’t believe this sweet girl went through this disaster when you see her smile.
