If you love roller coasters, then this video is for you. If you don’t love them, then you may be covering your eyes in 3, 2, 1…
Up for a good thrill ride? Then book your trip to Brühl, Germany. The Talocan is a gravity-defying spectacleand thrill ride located in Germany’s amusement park, Phantasialand. Since 2007, the Talocan has been treating park visitors to a thrilling experience, leaving them disoriented as they spin up, down and all around. All the while, riders are surrounded by jets of shooting water and flames bursting all around as the contraption drops, tumbles and twirls.
The amusement park ride was inspired by Tlaloc, Aztec God of the forefathers, who lashes out with thunder, lightning and rain. “Hungrily, he waits for fresh victims, ready to face the challenge of his Talocan lair,” the park describes the thrill ride. The truth is, this isn’t the only “topspin” ride in the world. Viewers liken the Talocan to the Wipeout at Australia’s Dreamworld or the Voodoo in Discovery Kingdom.
